ABOUT THE SHOW
DELHI MACHINE TOOL EXPO 2017
The first edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo held in New Delhi in August 2015 was a phenomenal success. The strong presence of business visitors and policymakers from India made it truly a major event in the region.
North India is hub to major engineering and machine tool industries. Manufacturers in the northern states such as Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, etc. look for a common platform to witness state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovations. These manufacturers, mostly from Tier II and Tier III cities of India, will find solutions for their manufacturing activities at Delhi Machine Tool Expo. The show give an opportunity for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) spread across north India to witness the global trends in machine tool industry.
Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017 will be a business-to-business (B2B) exhibition that would have the presence of industry delegations from automobiles, auto components, aerospace, capital goods, defence equipment, electrical / electronics, and many more sectors. The expo will provide the best platform for initiating business in light of the foreseen growth seen in the manufacturing sector.
The recent development of new automated manufacturing methods has made Welding and Joining more important than ever before. Technologically advanced processes are improving the results of welding and making it applicable to a wider range of manufacturing applications such as pressure vessels, aircrafts, ships and medical devices to high volume products such as automotive parts, appliances, food packaging and microelectronics. This has resulted in the increase of demand for the welding products across various industries within the manufacturing sector.
In today's complex manufacturing process, accuracy and precision plays an important role to define the quality of finished products, which require high level of detailing and low tolerance. When components are machined the process is not completed unless it is measured. Accomplishing the needs of the end customers with quality output can be achieved only after measuring and certifying the end product for its suitability at the customer's end.
Engineering Design specify the specification in terms of form, fit and function. Customer requirement is also one of the quality inputs to design specifications. The manufacturing processes are designed with reference to component specification. Inspection process is also an important aspect.
An exclusive exhibition on Metrology will address the needs and provide various innovative and technological solutions for manufacturing.
A separate pavilion has been set up for Exhibition on Metrology & Measurement.
